The Beginning

Every story must have a beginning so here is where I am starting mine.  I have decided to start a blog to document my journey to find a healthier, happier, more confindent me.  I am also needing some encouragement and accountability along the way and am hoping to find that here as well.  Just a little background about myself: I am married to an amazing man for 11 years now and we have two beautiful daughters.  I teach 4 year old preschool which keeps my days totally interesting!   I have a huge love of food, especially comfort and snack food--there in lies my problem!  I can work out on a regular basis but I can then eat enough to cancel out the workouts.  My plan at this point is to continue with my workouts and to keep track of my calories on My Fitness Pal--you know the whole eat less move more concept!  I am starting out weighing in at 189 pounds--wow that is really hard to type and will be even harder to post here in a bit.  My goal is to loose 50 pounds down to 140 pounds.  I took beginning pictures and will post those tomorrow.  So here I go on the start of my journey........
